Long-lasting, stable power supply
Unlike solar and wind power, SFC Energy cells provide a stable power supply unaffected by weather or surrounding conditions. The cells can also be used in conjunction with solar power so that power is supplied from solar sources on sunny days, while at night or during inclement weather, power is drawn directly from methanol fuel cells, which ensures a more efficient and stable power supply.

Compared to diesel generators and large fuel cells, SFC Energy cells are compact and lightweight. The fuel cell alone weighs just under 8 kg, and the fuel cell system (excluding the methanol) weighs approximately 60 kg, which defies the conventional perceptions of bulky fuel cell systems. After system setup, simply install the product on-site and turn on the power to start operation. Regular maintenance requires refilling the methanol fuel once every few months.
Cloud-based remote monitoring
Methanol fuel levels, battery voltage and current, and error status can be remotely monitored through a dedicated cloud platform. The fuel cells can be remotely operated, minimizing the need for on-site visits.
Easy to use, no paperwork required
SFC fuel cells use methanol with a 90% concentration as fuel. Unlike hydrogen, the liquid is much easier to handle. Each fuel cell system uses 10 to 80 liters of methanol, and under current Japanese Fire Service Act regulations, systems containing less than 80 liters do not require notification of the fire department nor a license.
Because the systems are hassle-free, many customers have adopted our fuel cells to stabilize their power supply in combination with solar power or to replace diesel generators.

SFC Energy proposes the optimal product for your needs based on the output of your load equipment to ensure an efficient power supply.
In addition to selling fuel cells individually, the company also customizes and delivers fuel cell systems tailored to each customer’s needs.
Output power per unit ranges from 40 W to 125 W.

07Maintenance
After the sale is complete, SFC Energy will perform the initial fuel refill and start system operation. For fuel cell systems, maintenance services are also provided.
