The Industrial Material Group handles a full range of textile products other than those for apparel use. These range from carbon nano tubes and other nanofibers to geotextile reinforcement materials for civil-engineering projects. The Group delivers solutions to the challenges our customers face. Our aim is to deliver products with higher value added at reasonable prices, through processing of polymers into spun fabrics, woven fabrics, knits, and nonwovens together with our partners who are leaders in their fields as well as handling dipping, coating, laminating, and other processes.

Our wide-ranging solutions business utilizes textile materials in the production materials essential to activities, such as infrastructure development and factory production. Together with pursuing the materials the world needs, with a focus on features, such as sound absorption, soundproofing, absorption of electromagnetic waves, incombustibility, heat resistance, weather resistance, and wear resistance, we also develop products with an eye toward future global needs.

The Pulp/Paper & CE Group handles a wide range of wood pulp, such as kraft pulp for papermaking use, produced by overseas pulp producers and fluff roll pulp used in hygiene products and other applications, as well as non-wood pulp, such as cotton linter pulp, abaca pulp, and bamboo pulp. It helps to protect the environment by trading those products.

PLA Greaseproof Paper
We started the business of greaseproof/waterproof paper coated with the biodegradable resin, polylactic acid (PLA).
We support and produce everything from the development of containers to solutions that eliminate the need to incinerate organic waste, such as food and paper waste, which is currently disposed of after a single use.
We will contribute to the achievement of a decarbonized society by reducing the use of petroleum-based resins and the amount of incinerated waste.
