Centered on textiles and paper, we have built up strong ties with partners around the world that have advantages in raw materials procurement and processing technology. We leverage this network to meet customer needs through our own proprietary expertise. We also have long focused on the development of products with lower environmental impacts.

Flexibly responding to customer needs

We use our extensive domestic and international networks to propose a wide range of textile-related materials. The materials we handle range from ultrafine carbon nanotube (CNT) and cellulose nanofiber (CNF) materials through naturel fibers, synthetic fibers, and inorganic fibers, as well as pulp, raw cotton, and yarn along with textile, woven, and nonwoven whole cloth. We also demonstrate Toyota Tsusho Matex's proprietary converting functions to deliver these materials processed into the forms that are easiest for customers to use, through resin impregnation, lamination, shredding, sewing, and other processes.

An extensive global network

The supply chain for our broad range of products is based on the ties we have built up with more than 600 customers and partners in 23 countries around the world. Leveraging information collected from across Japan and around the world and our logistics network, Toyota Tsusho Matex demonstrates its strengths in responding flexibly to customer needs. We propose optimal solutions for both sales and procurement, in Japan and worldwide, across areas that include building domestic and international materials sales channels and the development and procurement of the materials needed to manufacture products.

Solutions

Toyota Tsusho Matex is a multiple solutions provider that values both "needs" and "seeds," from raw materials through processed materials and products. By putting to maximum use our specialization in the fields of non-apparel textiles and Pulp & Paper Product and our comprehensive abilities as a member of the Toyota Tsusho Group, we provide new value added to help customer achieve solutions to the challenges they face. In addition to supplying raw materials and products, we also support solutions to customers' challenges in areas such as logistics and operations.

Eco-friendly materials development and supply

Toyota Tsusho Matex aims for carbon neutrality across all of its businesses. As the entire Toyota Tsusho Group strives to reduce its greenhouse-gas emissions, we contribute to solutions to the global challenge of climate change and realization of a sustainable society and an improved environment. We help to keep down greenhouse-gas emissions through proactive means such as the selection of raw materials with low environmental impacts, putting waste materials to effective use, and adoption of new technologies. We will continue to promote eco-friendly initiatives across the entire value chain.
